We have had extreme downpours over the past 3 months in the Downtown Atlanta area. There have been many homes flooded by the heavy downpours. Companies such as Water Removers have been extremely busy removing water from homes. There were at least 6 people killed due to the rising flood waters. The State of Ga. was struck hard and fast by the thunderstorms. Areas that have never flooded before had been damaged by water. Homeowners insurance companies refused to pay for a lot of these damages for most of the residents did not have flood insurance.
