A Re Roof is an excellent way to save money when in the market for a new roof. There is minimal debris from the installation process. Most Re Roofs can be completed within one day. The new shingles are installed over the existing roof system, so there is no need for felt underneath the new roof. A Re Roof option may not be available if you have more than one roof on the existing substrate.

As you can see in the picture, The new shingles are laying down smoothly over the old roof system. The nail pops were addressed and all rotten wood was replaced prior to roof installation.
When Re Roofing your home, it is very important that all of the existing roof jacks are replaced. H VAC pipes should be re-sealed with NP-1 Sealant. The ventilation system should be replaced to accommodate the additional roof on the existing substrate.
