I was wondering what the difference was between a Timberline Shingle and a regular 3 tab shingle. My neighbor told me that the Timberline style was a thicker material and therefore was a better product. I know the Timberline Shingle looks very unique in comparrison the 3 tab shingle.
My Roofing Contractor advised me that my roof was too flat for a Timberline style shingle. We were able to get the look of a 30 year shingle with the Atlas Chalet brand. Not only does my roof look great, it is leak free.
